Eng INSTALL MOWER AND DRIVE BELT
Be sure tractor is on level surface and mower suspension arms
(3)are raised with attachment lift control. Engage parking brake.
•Cut and remove ties securing
•Slide mower under tractor.
IMPORTANT: CHECK BELT FOR PROPER ROUTING IN ALL MOWER PULLEY GROOVES.
•Turn height adjustment knob counterclockwise until it stops.
•Lower mower suspension arms (3) with attachment lift control.
•Be sure belt tension rod (2) is in disengaged position.
•Install belt into electric clutch pulley groove (8).
•Place the suspension arms (3) on outward pointing deck pins. Retain with double loop retainer springs (B).
•Install front plate assembly (4) to tractor suspension brack- ets (5) and retain with single loop retainer springs (A) as shown.
•Position front plate assembly between front mower brack- ets (6). Raise deck and plate assembly to align holes and insert flanged pins (7). Secure pins with double loop retainer springs (B) between the plate assembly and mower brackets.
NOTE: To assist in locating hole in flanged pin (7), the hole in pin is inline with notch on head of pin.
•Engage belt tension rod by pushing rod (2) into locking bracket (9).
•Connect
•Turn height adjustment knob clockwise to remove slack from mower suspension.
•Raise deck to highest position.
•Adjust gauge wheels (11) before operating mower.
