Parameter	Description	Format/Option
System Time	Sets the system time. The hours are	Format: HH:MM:SS

Total Memory Size	Shows the notebook’s memory size.
Video Memory	Shows the VGA memory size. VGA

Quiet Boot	Determines if the Acer logo will be	Option: Enabled or Disabled
	displayed or not. Also determines if the
	Summary Screen is disabled or enabled.
	Enabled: The Acer logo is displayed and
	the Summary Screen is not displayed.
	Disabled: The Acer logo is not displayed,
	and the Summary Screen is displayed.
Power On Display	XX
Network Boot	Enables or disables the system boot from	Option: Enabled or Disabled
	LAN (remote server).
F12 Boot Menu	Enables or disables the Boot Menu	Option: Disabled or Enabled
	during POST.
	Note: The default parameter is set to
	Disabled. If you want to change the boot
	device without entering the BIOS Setup
	Utility, set the parameter to Enabled.
	Press <F12> during POST to enter the
	multi-boot menu. In this menu, the user
	can change the boot device without
	entering the BIOS Setup Utility.
D2D Recovery	Enables or disables the D2D Recovery	Option: Enabled or Disabled
	function. The function allows the user to
	create a hidden partition on the hard
	disc drive to store the operating system
	and other files used to restore the
	notebook to factory defaults.
SATA Mode Selection	Controls the mode in which the SATA	Option: AHCI Mode or IDE
	controller operates.	Mode

Note: Sub-items under each device will not be shown if the device control is set to Disabled or Auto. This is because the user is not allowed to control the settings in these cases.
