Chapter 2 - Various Printing Operations

Printing on Overhead Transparencies

This section describes how to print graphics and text on overhead transparencies. This function allows you to print full color images on the overhead transparencies to quickly produce materials for presentations and numerous other occasions.

Requirements

For printing on overhead transparencies, you will need the following.

∙Ink cartridges

The following ink cartridges can be used. Cyan ink cartridge (Part No. 106020-00) Magenta ink cartridge (Part No. 106015-00) Yellow ink cartridge (Part No. 106010-00) Black ink cartridge (Part No. 106005-00) White ink cartridge (Part No. 106050-00)

Use only the sheets shown below.

Overhead Projector Transparency Film (Part No. 106065-00)

Caution

When printing on overhead transparencies, use only the above listed ALPS transparency films. Using other films may cause damage to the printer.

Step 1¨ Prepare the Image to Be Printed

Create the text and graphics with an application, and lay them out within the printing area of an overhead transparency film.
