Chapter 5 - Command Line Interface

Example

5.21.2 link-integrity ping-host

This command configures the link host name or IP address. Use the no form to

remove the host setting.

Syntax

link-integrity ping-host <host_name | ip_address>

no link-integrity ping-host

•host_name - Alias of the host.

•ip_address - IP address of the host.

This command configures the time between each Ping sent to the link host.

interval - The time between Pings. (Range: 5 - 60 seconds)

This command configures the number of consecutive failed Ping counts before the

link is determined as lost.

Syntax

link-integrity ping-fail-retry <counts>

counts - The number of failed Ping counts before the link is determined as lost. (Range: 1 - 10)

This command displays the status for the Ethernet interface. 5.17.6 shutdown This command disables the Ethernet interface. To restart a disabled interface, use the no form.
