Turning file sharing on

1.Choose Control Panels from the Apple (K) menu and open the Sharing Setup icon.

Make sure the boxes in the Network Identity section of the control panel are filled in.

2.In the section labeled File Sharing, click the Start button.

Click here to start file sharing.

3. Close the Sharing Setup control panel.

If you want to give everyone on the network access to the items you share, continue with the next section, “Turning On Guest Access.”

Turning on guest access

If you want all users connected to the network to have access to your shared folders and disks, you need to turn on guest access.

1.Choose Control Panels from the Apple (K) menu and open the Users & Groups control panel.

2. Open the <Guest> icon.
