Steps Do This
1. Access the Alarms menu
from the Main menu.
Note: If you don’t press any buttons within 12 seconds,
the receiver screen will go blank and the last change will
be lost if you haven’t pressed the Select button.
a. Press the UP Arrow button or the DOWN Arrow
button to highlight Alarms.
b. Press the RIGHT Option button (Select) to go to the
Alarms Setting screen.
2. Decide what to do.
Note: In all the subsequent steps choosing the Next button will allow you to go from one eld to
another. For example, you can go from the ON/OFF eld to the Glucose threshold eld to the
alarm setting eld. Choosing the UP/DOWN Arrow button will allow you to choose the value you
want for the eld.
For example, choose ON or OFF for the alarm, choose a number for the threshold like 70 mg/dL
or choose medium beep or long beep for the alarm setting.
Review the alarm performance data in Section 18 for a detailed analysis of the eectiveness of the
glucose alarms.
