Steps Do This
7. Record generic events.
a. Use the LEFT Option button (Next) to select which item
to enter or change (Event, SAVE/CANCEL, Date, Time).
b. Use the UP Arrow button or the DOWN Arrow button
to change the selected item.
Note 1: ere are eight generic event numbers that
you or your healthcare team can assign to specic
events (For example, #1 can refer to “Dining Out,” #2
to “Shopping,” #3 to “Inactive Day, #4 to “Party,” etc.)
Note 2: Write down the meanings for each number as
you assign them so you don’t forget what they represent
(you don’t have to assign meanings to all the numbers).
c. When you are done, press the RIGHT Option button
(Set) to save (or cancel) the event.
8. Check your work.
Result: An electronic record of all events that may aect
your glucose levels.
You have done this procedure correctly when the event
records are complete and accurate.
