Raster Shift Adjustment
The green raster must be
centered both horizontally and
vertically on the center of the			G E O M E T R Y
CRT surface. To center the
			H P H A S E
green raster, look into the green
			R A S T E R S H I F T
lens and use the control disk			L E FT - R I G H T (E - W )
			TO P - B O TT O M ( N - S )
to move the raster.

It is necessary to look		C O A R S E S H I F T
into the lenses to
perform these adjust-		G R E E N H O R I Z O N T A L
ments. To avoid eye

discomfort	while
		R E D V E R T I C A L
looking into the lenses,		B L U E V E R TI C A L
reduce the	contrast
and gradually increase		Sel ect with	or
the brightness level		< E N TE R > t o a c c e p t
		< E X IT> t o ret u rn
until the raster be-
comes visible on the
face of the CRT.

Warning : In order to ensure maximum CRT longevity and to avoid CRT damage, do not shift the raster outside the phosphor area of the CRT.

To start the adjustment, use the arrow keys to highlight Raster shift and press ENTER to display the coarse shift menu. Select 'Green horizontal' and adjust for correct raster position in horizontal direction on the phosphor.

Continue with 'Green vertical', then with 'Red vertical' and with 'Bleu vertical' until the rasters of the 3 tubes correctly centered on the phosphor.
