The LIVEPAGE

Once the connection is established, the Web browser displays the LIVEPAGE. It shows the live video image on the right of the browser window. Depending on the configuration, various text overlays may be visible on the live video image (see Display stamping, page 37).

Other information may be shown next to the live video image on the LIVEPAGE. What is shown will depend on the settings you have made on the Livepage configuration screen (see page 94).

Maximum number of connections

If you do not connect, the device may have reached its maximum number of con- nections. Depending on the device and network configuration, up to 25 Web browser, or up to 50 VIDOS or Bosch Video Management System connections are supported.

Protected VIP X2

If the VIP X2 is password protected against unauthorized access, the Web browser displays a corresponding message and prompts you to enter the password when you attempt to access protected areas.

Note

The VIP X2 offers the option to limit the extent of access using various authorization levels (see page 32).

Enter the user name and password in the corresponding text fields.

Click OK. If the password is entered correctly, the Web browser displays the page called up.

Image selection

You can view the image from each camera individually on a full screen. It is also possible to display the camera images from both video inputs side by side (Dual Video).

Click one of the tabs above the video image to view one or both of the camera images.

Click one of the tabs MPEG-4 Stream 1, MPEG-4 Stream 2 or M-JPEG below the video image to toggle between the different displays of the camera images. This selection applies to both camera images.
