Poor Printing Quality

Iftheprintingqualityisnotatanacceptablelevel,pleasereplaceyourdrumunitwith a new one.

The Print is too Light or too Dark
Theprintdensitydialislocatedinthe	Print density dial
corner under the top cover. (Remove
the drum unit.) You can use it to
adjustprintdensitybyincreasingor
decreasingthePrintDensityfunction
settingyouchose.

The print may become darker or lighterasconditionschange(suchas changing the toner cartridge and drum unit or if the MFC has become overheated from heavy use).

Useastraightbladescrewdrivertoturntheprintdensitydialclockwisefordarkerprint andcounterclockwiseforlighterprint.Thedialhasbeensettothemiddleposition.

Makefiveorsixcopiestobringthetoneruptothelevelofthenewsetting.

Iftheprintisstilltoolight,checktoseeiftheTonerSavefeatureisON(seepage 6-9~10).
