SENDING FAXES ADVANCED FAX TRANSMISSIONS

Sending by Multiple Transmissions

Usethisfunctiontosendseveraldifferentfaxestoseveraldestinationsatonce.For example, you can automatically fax “Document A” to one destination and “Document B”toanotherdestination.

ThisisnottobeconfusedwithBroadcasting,whichissendingthesamedocument(s) tomanydestinations.

Ifyouwish,youcancombinethisfunctionwithbroadcastingsoyoucanfaxdifferent documentstodifferentlistsofpeopleatthesametime.Todothis,storevarioussets of documents in memory. Then automatically your MFC will fax “Document A” to one listofpeopleand“DocumentB”toanotherlistofpeople.Youcanpreset3different documents(includingtimertransmission)inmemory;ifyousetonetimertransmission, multipletransmissionsareavailablefortwootherdestinations.

If you press only Super Q.Scan instead of Shift + Super Q.Scan for the last document, your MFC will start dialing without waiting for 30 seconds.

KEYSTOPRESS

1.Insert“DocumentA”intothefeeder.

2.Press Shift + Super Q.Scan together to sendbymultipletransmission.

The display shows remaining memory.

3.Enterthe fax number. (Or enter a series ofnumbersifyouarebroadcasting.)

4.PressStartto startscanningdocuments.

5.Insert “Document B” within 30 seconds after“DocumentA”hasbeenscanned.(If you wait more than 30 seconds to scan another document, the MFC will begin to send document “A”.) Repeat Step 2, 3, 4 fordocument“B”.
