The size of the documents you want to send by fax should not be larger (or smaller) than your MFC can accommodate. The documents should each be between 5.8 and 8.5 inches (148 and 216 mm) wide and between 3.9 and 35.4 inches (100 and 900 mm) long.

The maximum width of the scanned area, that can be printed on the recording paper oftherecipient’sfax,is8.2inches(208mm).

How to Insert the Document

Tosendafax,firstinsertthedocumentyouwishtosend,facedown, in the document feeder. The top edge of the document should go in first,orthefaxwillbereceivedupsidedown.
