Format
Font (only for a layout document)
● Selecting the [Font] command in the [Format] menu displays the [Font] tab of the Text Properties
dialog box, which contains a number of settings that let you change the font, size, style, and the
effects applied to text.
● To specify font settings for new text, select the settings you want on the [Font] tab, then position
the cursor in the layout and type the new text.
● To edit font settings for a text object that has already been added to the layout, first use the I-
beam pointer to highlight the text or use the pointer to double-click on the text object in the
layout, then change the settings on the [Font] tab. Any settings that you specify are only applied
to the selected text object.
● Settings you make on the [Font] tab for a particular text object are reflected in the Font
