Inputting a closing parenthesis assigns it the same color as the corresponding opening parenthesis.

The parentheses of parenthetical expressions that are of the same level are the same color.

Executing a calculation causes the color of all parentheses to become black.

kUsing Replay Memory

The last calculation performed is always stored into replay memory. You can recall the contents of the replay memory by pressing d or e.

If you press e, the calculation appears with the cursor at the beginning. Pressing d causes the calculation to appear with the cursor at the end. You can make changes in the calculation as you wish and then execute it again.

Replay memory is enabled in the Linear input/output mode only. In the Math input/output mode, the history function is used in place of replay memory. For details, see “History Function” (page 1-21).
