Connecting Cables
To connect cables to your WAE, follow these steps:
Step1 Power down the appliance before connecting cables to or disconnecting any
cables from the appliance.
Step2 See the documentation that comes with your optional equipment for additional
cabling instructions. It might be easier for you to route the cables before you
install specific optional equipment.
Step3 Cable identifiers are printed on the cables that come with the server and options.
Use these identifiers to connect the cables to the correct connectors.
Figure 3-8 shows the locations of the input and output connectors on your device.
