b. Insert the +V lead (2) into the plug as shown in Figure2-18, and tighte n th e sc rew to hold the l ea d

to the plug.

c. Insert the –V into the plug as shown in Figure2-18, and tighten the screw to hold the lead to the plug.

Step5 If you have a dual DC power supply, repeat Step 4 for the second plug.

Step6 Insert the DC plug into the DC power connector on the chassis. If you have a dual DC power supply,

insert the second DC plug into the DC power connector.

Step7 Switch the circuit breaker to the on pos itio n.

Note After powering off the router, wait at least 30 seconds before powering it on again.

This completes the procedure for connecting DC-input power. Your installation is complete. Proceed to

Chapter 3, “Starting and Configuring,” to start the router and to perform a basic configuration.
