STEP 3 Click Apply. The SNMP Engine ID is defined, and the device is updated.
Defining SNMP ViewsSNMP Views provide access or block access to device features or feature
aspects. For example, a view displays that the SNMP Group A has Read Only (R/
O) access to Multicast groups, while SNMP Group B has Read-Write (R/W) access
to Multicast groups. Feature access is granted via the MIB name, or MIB Object ID.
To define SNMP views:

•View Nam e — Displays the user-defined views. The options are as follows:

— Displays the default SNMP view for read and read/write
views.
