About Choosing the Proper Installation Site
The ideal installation site for your LCD display is a
•Allows for adequate ventilation and clearance.
•Is protected from heat sources.
•Is not readily accessible to children or others who might lack the personal judgment or physical coordination to recognize, avoid, and prevent danger to themselves and others.

Environmental | If the installation site for your display is one where it will operate 24 hours a day, such as an airport or | |

| Be sure that only a qualified technician performs the installation. Personnel who are not qualified might | |

•Install your display in a well ventilated location with more than 10 cm clearance from the wall.
•Never block or cover the slots and openings in the display cabinet, including those on the back and bottom. They provide necessary ventilation.
•Never cover the slots and openings with a cloth or other materials.
•Never block the slots and openings by placing your display on a bed, sofa, rug or other similar surface.
•Never place your display in a confined space, such as a rack, bookcase, closet, or
