If I am using MetaFrame XP, will I have to reinstall the entire product in order to get the functionality in MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0?

No. Only the components needed to update your MetaFrame Presentation Server to 3.0 will be installed. There is no need to reinstall MetaFrame Presentation Server or any applications on the server. All prior settings will remain unchanged as a result of installing MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0.

Does MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0 have strong encryption technology?

Yes. MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0 contains Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technologies at the 128-bit encryption level.

Is MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0 available for import into all countries where Citrix does business?

Restrictions on importing strong encryption technology (128-bit encryption or greater) vary by country. For more information on whether MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0 for Windows is allowed to be imported into your country, please contact your local member of the Citrix Solutions Network.

Will existing clients work with MetaFrame Presentation Server?

Yes. Clients are both forward and backwards compatible and work with MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0 and prior versions. However, as Citrix adds new client-based features, some features will be available only by using the latest clients. Thus, Citrix recommends that MetaFrame Presentation Server customers use the latest clients at all times. The latest clients are available at http://www.citrix.com/download
