9.Use the case utility tool again to gently lever the side of the cover from the CPU base 1 on the left end. This will release the tab that holds the rest of the base in position.

10.Lift the base cover 2 from the magnesium frame.

Reverse the procedure to install the base. It is not necessary to use a tool to snap the cover into position.
