5.3.1Disconnecting the AC Power and External Diskette Drive Bay

The first procedure that should be performed on the computer is to disconnect the power supply and any external devices.

1.Turn off the computer.

2.Disconnect the AC adapter power cord from the wall.

3.Disconnect the AC adapter from the computer.

4.Disconnect the External Diskette Drive Bay from the computer.

5.Turn off and disconnect any external devices.

If the computer is docked in an auxiliary station, see Section 5.3.2 for undocking instructions.
