Appendix B: MAC Address Manual Identification

Identify Media Access Control (MAC)

A MAC address is a physical address that uniquely identifies each node of your network.

For Windows XP

1.Click Start>Run.

2.In the Run dialog box, enter CMD. Click OK. The DOS Window is displayed.

3.At the c: prompt, type ipconfig /all and press Enter.

4.Locate the network adapter connected to the Connection Point CP-2E in the list displayed.

5.Note the MAC address listed next to Physical Address.
