Step 5—Install PERC 3/SC

Choose a 3.3 V or 5 V PCI slot and align the PERC 3/SC card bus connector to the slot. Press down gently but firmly to make sure that the card is properly seated in the slot. The bottom edge of the controller card should be flush with the slot. Figure 8-4 shows PCI slots on a motherboard.
