When you boost ping speed and switch into HyperScroll, the width of the FasTrack bar graph display doubles in width at the right side of the screen. This allows you to better see the virtually instantaneous sonar returns, just as you would on a flasher sonar unit. For more informa- tion on FasTrack, see its entry in this section.

Reset Options

This command is used to reset all features, options and settings to fac- tory defaults. It is useful when several settings have been changed and you want to return the unit to basic automatic operation.

1.Press MENUMENU↓ to SYSTEM SETUPENT↓ to RESET OPTIONSENT.

2.Press ← to YESENT.

3.All menus are cleared and the unit reverts to the Map Page at the

4000-mile zoom. All options have been set to factory default settings.

NOTE:

Reset Options does not erase any waypoints, routes, plot trails, or sonar logs.

Reset Water Distance

Sonar chart's digital data display option includes a box that shows Wa- ter Distance. This information is calculated from an optional water speed sensor, not the GPS. The Water Distance window can be reset to zero using the Reset Water Distance command.

Press MENUMENU↓ to SONAR SETUPENT↓ to RESET WATER DIS-

TANCEENT. The menus are cleared and the water distance is reset to 0.00.
