Status/Alarm Message Areas

The status/alarm message areas display vital information about the operation of the UPS system. During normal operation no alarm messages should be present. Changes in the status of the system and possible alarm conditions can be monitored. Both the status and the alarm messages are dis- played in reverse video (highlighted—light on dark). The alarm messages continue flashing until the Horn Off pad is pressed. To clear a latching alarm, you must also press the Alarm Reset pad after the alarm condition is corrected.

The following lists show the status and alarm messages that may be displayed in these areas. For more information and the corrective actions for these messages, refer to Table 9 in this section.
