Configuringthe ANG-1000 with Aurorean Web Config

The Configuration Edit window appears as shown in Figure 28.

ThisWeb application allows y ou to updateand delete the system configuration
filesof the ANG -1000. These files are used to control theANG-1000 for its V PN
functionality,Internet and LANconn ectivity,firewal lc apabilities, networking
startupcomma nds and other key features of the ANG-1000 devi ce.
Extremecaution needs to be exercised when modifyin g the system
configurationf iles of the ANG-1000. The raw contents of the files areexpos ed
forupdating an d improper editing could render the ANG-1000 ino perable. Bear
thisin mind as you use this Web application.
Whenthe confi guration files are modified, the ANG-1000 device mayneed to
berebooted in order for the changes to take effect. Other modifications to
configurationf iles can be made and their effects will be seen in the running
system.If you are not clear as to which type of change yo uare mak ing, be sure
toclick the“Reboot Now”butto n when prompted.
Thislist of fileson the leftdisplays th e files contained in the ANG-1000 RAM-
basedconfigurationfiledirectory/etc/config. Most of the se files contain
editabletext, but s ome of them are stored as binary data and cannot be edited.
