Choosing Paper

For best results, use paper made especially for laser printers. Paper made for plain-paper copiers is also a good choice. Paper should be of good quality and relatively smooth. Since the printer is sensitive to moisture, keep it dry.

Youcanusetheprinter’spaperbintofeedmosttypesof60to 90g/m2 (16to24lb)letter-sizepaper.Ifyoufeedpaperorother mediaonesheetatatime,youcanuseupto157g/m2 (42lb) paper.

You may use colored paper but not paper to which a colored coating has been added.

Note:

The quality of any particular brand or type of paper my be changed by the manufacturer at any time, so Epson cannot guarantee any particular one. Also, some inks or dyes may smear or come off when subjected to the high temperature of the fuser. Always test samples of paper stock before purchasing large quantities or printing large jobs.
