The printer is currently performing a self test and initialization.

Service Req Cffff/Service Req Exxx

A controller error or a print engine error has been detected. Turn off the printer. Wait at least 5 seconds, then turn it back on. If the error message still appears, write down the error number listed on the LCD panel (Cffff/Exxx), turn off the printer, unplug the power cord, then contact a qualified service representative.

Set MP Tray

The MP tray is not installed correctly. Pull out the MP tray, and then insert it again.

Sleep

The printer is currently in the power-save mode. This mode is canceled when the printer receives print data.

Stacker Full

The output paper at the Stacker is full. Remove the paper that was output and press the Start/Stop button. Printing resumes.

Toner Cart Error

A read/write error has occurred for the imaging cartridge. Remove the imaging cartridge and reinsert it. If that fails to clear the error, replace the imaging cartridge.

To install the imaging cartridge, see “Replacing Consumable Products” on page 147.

Toner Low

This message indicates that the imaging cartridge is near the end of its service life. Prepare a new imaging cartridge.

Transfer Unit Needed Soon

This message indicates that the transfer unit is near the end of its service life. You can continue to print until the Replace Tranasfer Unit message appears. You can continue to print until the Replace Transfer Unit message appears.
