To confirm that the option is installed correctly, print a configuration status sheet. See “Printing a Configuration Status Sheet” on page 184.

Note for Windows users:

If EPSON Status Monitor is not installed, you have to make settings manually in the printer driver. See “Making Optional Settings” on page 205.

Removing an interface card

cBefore you remove an interface card, be sure to discharge any static electricity by touching a grounded piece of metal. Otherwise, you may damage static-sensitive components.Caution:

Perform the installation procedure in reverse.

CompactFlash MemoryInstalling a CompactFlash memory

An optional CompactFlash memory enables you to store overlay forms, use Reserve Job function, and improve the collate printing environment.
