2.3.4 Fuel Shut-Off Valve: 1/ 4 turn increment s ( left tank, “O FF” , right tank)

2.4.7 Safet y Int er lock System:
PTO must be di sengaged, brake engaged, and mot ion control levers out
(neutral lock) to start engine. (It is not necessary for t he oper ator to be in the seat
to start t he engine.)
Operator m ust be in seat when PTO is engaged, brake is disengaged, or motion
control levers are moved i n or engine will stop.
Engine will stop if either the left, t he r ight, or bot h levers are moved from neutral
lock position while brake i s engaged.

2.5 OPERATOR CONTROLS

2.5.1 Steering and Motion Control:
Separate levers, on each side of the console, control speed and direction of travel
of t he r espect ive drive wheels.
Steering is cont rolled by varying the position of t he levers r elat ive to each ot her.
Moving mot ion cont r ol levers outward (in slots) lock s t he dr ive system in neutral.
Motion control levers are adjust able t o two heights.
2.5.2 PTO Switch: Engag es elect r ic clutch (to drive belt) which engages mower blades.
2.5.3 Parking Brake Lever: Engages parking brak es.
2.5.4 Deck Heig ht Adjustment Lever: Sets cutting height to desir ed position.
2.5.5 Deck Lift Assist Lever (st andar d on 48” & 52” units, optional accessory for 44”
units): Foot pedal that assists in raising the deck.

2.6 SEAT

2.6.1 Type: Standard seat: high back, foam padded (int er nal spr ing
suspension) with arm rests.
Optional seat accessories:
• Custom ride suspension system t o enhance St andar d Seat.
• Deluxe suspension seat with high back, low profile foam - in- place cushion
(dampened, adj ust able spring suspension) and arm r est s .
2.6.2 Mounting: Hinged t o tilt up f or access to hydraulic pumps, batt er y and other
components. Held in t ilted position with prop rod. Adj ustable for e and aft seat track.
