5.1.12 Check tire pr essures:

Service Interval: 40 hrs.

a) Stop engine, wait for all moving par t s t o st op, and remove key.

b) Check t ir e pr essur e in dr ive tires.

c) Inflate drive tires t o 13 psi ( 90 kPa).

d) Semi-pneumatic cast er tires do not need to be inflated.

NOTE: Do not add any type of tire liner or foam fill material to the tires.

Excessive loads created by foam filled tires may cause f ailur es to the hydro drive

system, frame and other com ponents. Foam filling tir es will void the warranty.

5.1.13 Check condition of belts:

Service Interval: 40 hrs.

a) Stop engine, wait for all moving par t s t o st op, and remove key.

b) Check under engine deck to check pump drive belt.

c) Remove left and right belt shields on deck and lift out floor pan to inspect

deck drive belt.

d) See Sections 5.2.3 and 5. 2.4, f or belt adjustment .

5.1.14 Lubricate g r ease fitting s :

Service Interval: Ref er t o chart .

a) Stop engine, wait for all moving par t s t o st op, and remove key.

b) Lubricate fittings with one to t wo pumps of NGLI grade #2 multi- pur pose

gun gr ease.

Refer t o the following chart for fitting locations and lubrication schedule.

c) Lubricate front caster pivots once a year. Remove hex plug and cap. T hr ead

grease zerk in hole and pump with grease until it oozes out around top

bearing. Rem ove g r ease zerk and thread plug back in. Place cap back on.
