Playing an IR command

Playing a command means issuing the command from the MLC using the configuration software. The result is the same as if the equivalent button were pressed on the display device’s remote control.

To play an IR command,

1. On the main screen, click the MLC or IR 452 button whose command(s) you want to play.

2. In the Current Button field, click on the desired command to highlight it.

3. Click the Play IR Command button below the Current Button field. The MLC issues the command, and the device performs the function.

If the button is in macro mode and has multiple commands programmed to it, all of the commands are issued in the order in which they are listed in the Current Button field.
