Current standby mode is when both CURRENT MODE and 5725A STANDBY indicators are lit. In current standby mode, the 5725A is not supplying an output. Current standby occurs under any of the following conditions:

When the 5700A current output location is set to "5725A", and any ac or dc current level is showing on the 5700A Output Display with the STANDBY annunciator lit.

If "5725A" is selected in a 5700A setup menu as the current amplifier, and any of the following conditions are true:

1.An ac or dc current 2.2A or above is showing on the 5700A Output Display with the STANDBY annunciator lit.

2.Any level of dc current is showing on the 5700A Output Display with the STANDBY annunciator lit, and the BOOST key on the 5700A is pressed so that the BOOST indicator is lit.

3.An ac current 1A or above is showing on the 5700A Output Display with the STANDBY annunciator lit, and the BOOST key on the 5700A is pressed so that the BOOST indicator is lit.

4.The 5700A is ranged locked on the 11A range, and any dc current or an ac current 1A or above is showing on the Output Display with the STANDBY annunciator lit.
