Chapter 25 I2C Interface

25.1 Introduction

This chapter describes the I2C module, clock synchronization, and I2C programming model registers. It

also provides extensive programming examples.

NOTE

The MCF5221 1 contains two I2C modules, I2C0 and I2C1. The designation

‘n’, with n= 0 or 1, is used throughout this chapter to refer to registers

associated with one of the two identical I2C modules.
