5.3Sending Files by E-mail

This section describes how to send documents scanned with the ScanSnap by e-mail.

When you scan documents with the ScanSnap, image files are created and attached to a e-mail with e-mail software starting.

ATTENTION

The e-mail software used are the applications specified in the following;

•For Mac OS X v10.3 or later

The application specified in [Preferences] - [General] - [Default Email Reader] in the menu bar of Mail

•For Mac OS X v10.2

The application specified in [System Preferences] - [Internet] - [Email] - [Default Email Reader]

Note that the following e-mail software is supported.
