Video Modes

The CL-GD5480 integrated video controller provides all standard IBM VGA modes. With 2 MB of SGRAM standard, the system supports special Cirrus Logic extended modes. Table 40 and Table 41 list the standard and extended modes that this implementation supports, including the number of colors and palette size (e.g., 16 colors out of 256 K colors), resolution, pixel frequency, and scan frequencies.
