Sending and Receiving by Polling
Polling allows you to make documents available for others to retrieve by calling your fax machine if their fax has polling capability. It also allows you to call another fax machine that is set up for polling and retrieve documents if the other fax machine doesn't require a password or security code.
For example, you may have a document that you want to make available to a group of people whenever they need it. You can set up the document to be polled and it can be retrieved by anyone calling your machine. You can also set up a document to be polled one time only.
