Using the Menu to

Customize your HP Fax

	3The HP Fax uses a menu system that allows you to control how your
	copies and faxes look.
	Printing a Map of the Menus
	To see a listing of all the menu items and their current settings, press
	Menu, then 3, then 4. The current setting is marked with an
	asterisk (*).
	Using the Menus
Start	z The Start button has two functions:
	Saves information: Acts as an Enter key. Enter information and
	press Start.
	Begins an action: For example, printing a report. With the name
	of your report displayed, press Start to print it.

zThe Stop button has two functions:

Cancels an entry: Cancels changes you made in a menu and exits without saving. To get to the date and time display from any- where in the menu system, press Stop.

Stops an action: For example, press Stop to cancel a report that’s being printed.

zPress Menu to enter the menu. The choices will scroll across the display. Select a choice by pressing Start while it is displayed or by entering its number on the keypad.

zUse the arrow buttons (9 :) to move through menu choices. The current setting will be shown by an asterisk (*). Press Start when your choice is displayed.
