RJ-45 Pin Specification
When connecting the HP ProLiant BL e-class C-GbE Interconnect Switch to a switch, bridge, or hub, a Category 5 Ethernet cable is necessary. Review these products for matching cable pin assignments.
Figure J-1displays the standard RJ-45 receptacle/connector. Table J-1provides the pin assignments for the switch-to-network adapter card connection, and for the Category 5 Ethernet cable for a switch-to-switch, –hub, or –bridge connection.
