The most recent version of HP PCL and PCL 6. This PDL includes

KPDL

An optional KPDL upgrade kit may be required for some models.

 

The GDI compatible mode can also be used.

 

 

In GDI compatible mode, vector graphics are rasterized for printing asbitmap images. Use the GDI compatible mode option to improve the graphicoutput quality created by the application.

NOTE • Due to memory restrictions, this feature is not available in certain printing environments.

3Settings... is available when the PDL is set to KPDL, and when PCL XL is selected on some models.
