6.9.2 Restoring a Guest OS File or Directory from a Virtual Copy

The second context menu command available in virtual disks grid allows you to attach a virtual disk available on the selected virtual copy to any of the VMs currently running on the ESX host where the virtual copy is mounted.

1Right-click the virtual disk you wish to attach and click Mount on Virtual Machine.

2Select a VM on the ESX host where the virtual copy is mounted.
