2.1What is 3PAR Management Plug-In and Recovery Manager for VMware vSphere?

VMware Virtual Infrastructure management suite has two components, VMware vCenter Server and Virtual Infrastructure Client (VI Client). vCenter Server is a Web service installed on a Windows server. VI Client is a Windows desktop application, and is typically downloaded from the vCenter Server.

3PAR Management Plug-In and Recovery Manager for VMware vSphere is a Web application and is deployed as a VI Client plug-in (a VI Client plug-in is an external Web application that is configured with the vCenter Server in such a way that VI Clients are able to display their pages). 3PAR Management Plug-In and Recovery Manager for VMware vSphere provides its own Web server.
