Domain name Meaning
Total tunnels Tunnel number
LocID The unique value of local end to identify a channel.
RemID The unique value of opposite end to identify a channel.
Remote Name The name of opposite end.
Remote Address IP address of opposite end.
Port Port number of opposite end.
Sessions Sessions number on the tunnel.

2.4.1 NAS-Initialized VPN

I. Networking requirement
The users can access Intranet of the company through local dial-up access to the
Internet. The tunnel is used to transmit data between NAS and LNS and authenticat e
the channel.
