Contents of tbconfig.std

USERS specifies the maximum number of OnLine user processes that can

attachto shared memory concurrently. A user process is broadly defined as aprocessthat is, or will be, attached to shared memory. User processesincludedatabase server processes, daemon processes, and utility processes. (In thismanual, no reference is made to application tool processes.) Refer topage 1-33 for information about setting the value of this parameter.
