Software requirements

Before starting the installation of the IBM Tivoli Remote Control Proxy, you

should have installed the minimum product levels listed in the Table 2-8. These

requirements are only for the IBM Tivoli Remote Control Proxies. If you plan to

use a Non-Standalone solution, you should also take in cons ideration the

software requirements for the Tivoli Firewall Security Toolbox. Please always

refer to the IBM Tivoli Remote Control Release Notes, SC23-4844 for up-to-date

software requirements for IBM Tivoli Remote Control Proxies.

For the UNIX platform, you need to have 48 MB of available space in the /tmp file

system.

Information you will need for the installation

The IBM Tivoli Remote Control Proxy Standalo ne installation process will require

you to fill in the following information, and will offer advice about the values you

can use during the installation process:
