Software

This section describes the IBM-preinstalled software and other software that comes with your computer.

IBM preinstalled software

Your computer comes with preinstalled software. An operating system, device drivers to support built-in features, and other support programs are included.

Additional software

Your computer comes with a Software Selections CD that includes additional software that you might choose to install. Go to Access IBM for information about installing software from the Software Selections CD.

Access IBM

The Access IBM program is preinstalled on your computer and is accessible from the Start menu on the Windows desktop. It provides valuable information about using your computer.
