Installing the Audio Drivers for Windows NT 4.0

Step 1. Before installing the audio drivers for Windows NT 4.0, you must first install the file pnpisa.inf. This file can be found in the Windows NT 4.0 CD or the Service Pack3 CD. It is recommended that the file in the Service Pack3 CD be used. When the file has been found, select the file by clicking the mouse and then click the mouse right button. Click Install to start copying files into your system. When Windows NT prompts you to restart the computer, click Yes.

Step 2. Upon restarting, Windows NT will find the new hardware OPL3-SAX.Select Driver from disk provided by hardware manufacturer. Insert the CD or floppy diskette labeled YAMAHA Audio YMF715 Windows NT 4.0 Drivers, then click OK.

Step 3. Type A:\ or D:\sound\ya715\winnt40 (if you are using floppy diskette or CD respectively), then click OK.

Step 4. Select OPL3-SA sound system (xxxxx), then click OK. (xxxxx) refers to the language that you are using.

Step 5. When the Resource window appears, click OK.

Step 6. When the Game Port window appears, select Windows NT default driver, then click OK.

Step 7. Click Yes when Windows NT prompts you to restart the computer.
