Capturing images using the provided software (KY-SCSI)

The provided software (KY-SCSI) is an application for capturing images on a PC. Using this application, the image can be captured using just one SCSI cable while camera operations (freeze, white balance adjustment, etc.) can also be performed from the PC. Both preview and capturing can be performed using just one monitor. When connecting the hardware, you will have to purchase a separate SCSI board and SCSI cable.

MEMO

As the KY-SCSI utilizes the ASPI manager it will not operate if a SCSI board not compatible with ASPI is used. (Recommended SCSI board: AHA-2940AU (Adaptec Inc.)

Connect the camera and SCSI board using a one-to-one connection. Correct operation may be impeded if connected with other equipment in a daisy chain.

(To use other SCSI equipment at the same time, use a separate SCSI board.)

Set the SCSI ID to a number other than that of the SCSI board (other than 7).

Set the monitor output mode to the SXGA mode. ( page 24)

For details read the Readme.txt file on the floppy disk.
