Connecting a printer

It is possible to directly output image data stored in the main unit memory to a printer. (  page 39 Outputting images from the memory to a printer)

CAUTION

 

Before connecting, make sure that the power of all sys-

 

tems are turned off. Connecting with the power turned on

Be sure to terminate the last device on the SCSI bus.

When directly connecting the main unit to a printer, set the dip switches on the rear of the main unit as shown below.

Set the ID of the printer side to other than 7.

MEMO

Turn on the camera power after turning on the printer power.

Connecting two or more printers at the same time is not possible.

The image data outputted to a printer will be 1312 1024 pixels, regardless whether the mode is VGA or SXGA, or whether the VGA mode is set to FINE or DRAFT.

The maximum allowed length of the SCSI cable is 3m.

When connecting an MO/Zip® drive to a PC, separate setting of the SCSI ID is required.

It is not possible to simultaneously output the image data to a printer and MO/Zip® drive.
