Introducing Group Editing Functions
The groups and tracks can be edited in many ways (Group editing functions and Track editing functions). From this page to page 50, the group editing functions are explained. For details on the track editing functions, see pages 51 to 55.
Forming a group (FORM GR): Page 44
This function forms a series of tracks or a single track into a new group.

If “PLAYBACK DISC” or “DISC PROTECTED” appears when you try to edit an MD
You cannot edit such MDs. See pages 67 and 68.
During Program play or Random play mode
You can edit the MD as long as the playback is stopped. However, editing groups and/or tracks will resume Normal play mode (the program in memory will be cleared).
